Alan Manning is originally from Tifton, Ga., and received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. He attended the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and attained a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2012. Following graduation, he completed a residency in orthopedic physical therapy which provided advanced post-professional training with emphasis on clinical decision making, direct access, advanced medical screening, evidence-based practice, and manual therapy. He attained his Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) through the University of St. Augustine in October 2013, which signifies excellence with mobilization, manipulation, and a variety of soft tissue techniques for the spine and extremities. He attained the title of Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2014, which indicates board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy by the American Physical Therapy Association. Outside of work he enjoys golf, fishing, hunting, going to the beach, spending time with friends, and keeping up with all his Atlanta sports teams…and the FSU Seminoles!
